Better late than never. This pumpkin, our second place winner (prize: a smaller lot of candy), was designed by Winegirl and destroyed by a trebuchet (a catapult, but with a sling). I used a couple trees as the supports and 180 pounds of sand as ballast in the counterweight. The arm length is 20 feet. Many thanks to my buddy Chris, of Fuzzwuzzle.com fame, for helping with the construction.
