About GlassGiant.com

GlassGiant.com has been around since 2001. It started as a personal portfolio website and programming "scratch pad" for it's founder, Shawn Wilson. Since then, it has grown into a popular spot for MySpace and other blog widgets.

Name

The name GlassGiant.com was chosen on the spur of the moment. Originally, the website was going to support a piece of 3D modelling software specifically designed to model transparent and translucent objects. The software's mascot was to be a giant made of glass. That software never materialized.
